Measure the interfaces first

Start with the installed seat, not the cover listing. Photograph the headrest posts, belt buckle, side controls, recline lever, seat-mounted airbag labels, and any split or folding boundary. Measure the cushion and backrest at their widest points, then note the clearance needed for normal movement.

Area Record Why it matters
Cushion Width, depth, bolsters Prevents bunching and exposed edges.
Backrest Width, height, shape A cover can pull against seams or controls.
Headrest Post spacing and removal path The cover must not block adjustment.
Restraints Buckle, belt, and child-seat routes Access must remain direct and visible.
Airbags Marked seam and deployment path Do not cover or relocate a restricted seam.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s restraint guidance is a reason to treat belt and child-seat access as a hard boundary, not a cosmetic detail.

Limits

No fit, crash, airbag, comfort, heat, or durability test was performed. This guide does not approve a cover or replace the exact vehicle and product instructions.
